The Ilkley Food & Drink Festival lands in Ilkley this weekend – here’s everything you need to know.
Saturday, June 10 from 10am to 8pm and on Sunday, June 11 from 10am to 7pm at East Holmes field.
Organisers promise the biggest festival yet with new tasting sessions, cocktail making, a cookery theatre, performing arts and over 150 traders showcasing the best of Yorkshire produce.
Get ready for a taste sensation as the Ilkley Food & Drink Festival returns to Ilkley on June 10th-11th. This exciting event is set to captivate the North of England and beyond, serving up a delightful mix of vendors, live music, and thrilling performances.
Indulge your cravings with over 150 talented artisans and market traders showcasing their mouthwatering creations. The street food arena will be a hub of culinary delights, offering a diverse range of local and international cuisine. And if you're thirsty, there will be a fantastic selection of independent drink and bar vendors, as well as the chance to sample North Brew Co's ales and try your hand at cocktail making.
The festival is not just about food and drink, it's also a feast for the ears. Get ready to groove to the sounds of a Killers Tribute Band, a Robbie Williams Tribute, Flying Funk, and Ibiza Sax. Plus, be entertained by captivating performances, including The Magic Matt Show, Family Magic and Comedy Shows, and Family Fun "have a go" Circus Workshops.
Michael Johnston, Festival Director, expressed his excitement, saying, "We can't wait to return to the beautiful location in Ilkley. The support we've received over the past four years has been incredible, allowing us to grow and offer even more activities each year."
For food enthusiasts looking to expand their culinary knowledge, interactive tasting sessions will be available, featuring experts in artisanal charcuterie, cheese, gin, and beer. And don't miss the free live cookery theatre hosted by Leeds Cookery School, where talented chefs such as Richard Allen, George Psarsis, Bobby Getha, and Al Roberto will share their skills and cooking tips.
But the fun doesn't stop there! Explore the Fun Fair, bounce around Inflatable Land, encounter roving comedians and entertainers, marvel at stilt walkers, learn at the Educational Farm, and let your kids unleash their creativity in the Kids Drawing Competition.
