An exhibition by Climate Action Ilkley, Dear Earth, opens at Ilkley Manor House next month and will feature local Letters to the Earth.
A spokesperson for Climate Action Ilkley said: “We would like to invite everyone, individuals and organizations to contribute their own letters to the exhibition. We hope that it will be an exhibition that evolves over time so letters may be submitted before and during the exhibition which will run every Saturday and Sunday 11am - 4pm through September and October.
“If you would like to share your letter prior to the opening of our exhibition on Saturday 2nd of September, please post it through the Ilkley Thingery door at 10 Church Street, Ilkley, LS29 9DS addressed to Earth, or send it by post!
“Everyone is welcome to contribute a letter, the old and the young, residents and visitors. Letters can be anything from a sentence to a few pages, a poem, an illustration. However you would like to express yourself in relation to the willful, continued destruction of our Earth.”
