Ilkley Civic Society’s Design & Conservation Awards presentation will take place this Thursday (28th March) with a total of seven to be awarded to local businesses, organisations and individuals.
The awards presentation will follow the guest speaker, Adam Clark, joint founder of the national architects practice based in Ilkley, Halliday Clark but now retired from the business.
This will include both awards and commendation certificates to a wide variety of projects all of which have succeeded in making a valuable contribution to improving the townscape of Ilkley or its surrounding landscape.
Projects, selected from a long list of over 30 projects from the last two years that included a variety of private residence, one commercial, one leisure and a number of volunteer lead natural environment projects.
Chair of Ilkley Civic Society Helen Kidman commented: “We look forward to meeting all those being presented with certificates and some of the local designers and contractors involved.
“Our winners have been invited to the presentation on Thursday at Church House on Church Street from 17.30 and members of the public are invited to attend as well as our own ICS members.”
