Rotary Holly Ball 2023 set to be bigger and better

The “Holly Ball” has been established now for over 39 years and this year will take place at the Kings Hall and Winter Garden in Ilkley on Saturday 16th December.

Chris Woodhead, chair of the organising committee, says “We are pleased to confirm that this popular event will be bigger and better than ever this year.

“We have listened to our customers and have made changes to the running order to maximize the amount of time the event has for dancing and entertainment."

Following its strategy of supporting local businesses, Martinez will again be the event’s wine supplier, award winning Lishmans the meat supplier and multiple award winning artisan cheesemakers Courtyard Cheeses of Settle will provide the cheese course.

Entertainment will feature the well-known Ilkley Band the Finishers, with Rombalds Radio’s Nick Babb acting as DJ and MC for the night.

Chris adds: “We are delighted to announce that our principal charity partner for the 2023 Holly Ball will be Martin House Children’s Hospice, who provide care for children with severe life shortening conditions. We will also be supporting The Friends of the Kings Hall & Winter Garden, whose volunteers will again provide a Sommelier service at the event.

“Tickets include a glass of fizz on arrival, a superb four course menu (vegetarian option available) including a cheese course, and coffee or tea, followed by a night of entertainment and dancing. All for the cost of only £70 per person. Anyone wishing to purchase tickets can do so by sending an email to ilkleyhollyball@gmail.com or accessing the Holly Ball Facebook page.

“Tickets are selling extremely well and the Holly Ball is likely to be a sell out as usual.

“Look forward to seeing you there.”
