Ilkley BID have launched an interactive Halloween trail around Ilkley town centre which is taking place over the next two weeks until 1st November.
34 Ilkley businesses are taking part in the trail which invites families to search for spooky images on display around Ilkley town centre in shop windows.
The trail information can be found on the LoyalFree town centre app and families are invited to walk around the town to look for the Halloween spooky posters. The app allows the participants to scan the QR code accompanying each spooky picture to show they have visited the location. Everyone who completes the interactive trail will be entered into a prize draw to win one of many prizes.
Matt Broadley from Broadley’s Wine Bar & Bistro has donated a £50 voucher to the collection of prizes. Matt commented: “We are happy to donate to this fun event which will encourage visitors to the town.”
Helen Rhodes, BID Manager added: “We wanted something fun for the children to do during the school holidays and the generous donations of various prizes from businesses will encourage people to visit Ilkley and take part in some Halloween Fun. We are running this particular trail on LoyalFree only to encourage more people to download the app and see what else is on there. In addition to our local prizes for the Halloween Trail, there is a national competition running in the app which allows one entry per day to win a Fitbit Inspire.
We will be adding more trails and competitions over the coming months and will include both paper and digital versions.”
Other Ilkley Businesses that have offered prizes are; Café J, The Ticket Office, The Art Shop, The Riverside Hotel, Ilkley Cow, The Little Teahouse, Wilkinsons & Partners, RDC Solicitors, Anytime Fitness, The Slime Company and Waltons Fine Furnishings.
