Ilkley Town Council is excited to announce a new addition to its annual Christmas light switch event on Saturday 23rd November 2024.
This year, Santa will lead a lantern parade along The Grove accompanied by a live band before switching on the lights and settling into his Grotto.
Local schools have been approached to host funded lantern workshops for pupils and a public community workshop facilitated by Cecil Green Arts will be held on Saturday 2nd November 2024 at the Clarke Foley Community Hub from 11am-3pm.
Numbers are limited so registration for the workshop is required. You can book by scanning the QR code on the poster or through the town council website

The workshop is suitable for ages 8 years and upwards.
All families are welcome to join the parade at the light switch event. A small number of lanterns will be available on the day, but you are encouraged to make or bring along your own where possible.
