Kickstart your 2025 fitness goals with a free fitness taster event!

Are you unsure where to begin with your 2025 fitness goals? The Clarke Foley Community Hub can help with its free Ultimate Fitness taster event from 9am on Saturday 1st February.

Open to all, the event will feature a variety of exciting fitness classes designed to help you get moving and inspired for the year ahead. The event fun and dynamic classes will include; Strong, Bokwa, Yoga and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Self-Defense.

Each class will run for 30 minutes, with a 15-minute break between sessions for rest and socialising. Participants are welcome to try one or all of the classes and there’s no cost to attend. However, the Clarke Foley kindly asks for a small donation to support our community hub. The cafe will be open as well for attendees to rehydrate.

Anna Clewlow, Marketing Coordinator, said:

“This is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to explore different types of fitness, meet new people, and find a routine that works for them.”

“Whether you’re new to fitness or looking to try something new, we’ve got something for everyone and these are all local fitness professionals who hold these classes around the Ilkley area so if participants enjoy a session they can attend a local class.

“We are also thrilled to be able to partner up with Emma Draper fitness of Ilkley and Addingham, again following her support for our recent danceathon. Instructor Marianna Easter will also be running a session in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu self-defence which is designed especially for women as it focusses on technique and leverage rather than strength.

“Don’t miss out on this exciting chance to kickstart your fitness journey! Bring a friend, get active, and discover new ways to stay fit in 2025.”

A full detailed schedule will be posted on the Clarke Foley Community Hub website and social platforms in the coming week.
