This week The Rotary Club of Ilkley presented Martin House Children’s Hospice with a cheque for £8000 representing the profits from their Annual Holly Ball of £7000 & £1000 from their Business Quiz.
Mrs Pam Ravenscroft chair of the Ilkley Friends of Martin House together with her colleague Chris Verney Fundraising Manager attended the presentation.
She thanked the Rotary Club of Ilkley Most sincerely and said the proceeds will help to pay for the vital annual holiday to Keilder Forest for Martin House patients & support for five families for at home specialist care.
The Rotary Holly Ball takes place each December raising much needed funds for local charities with a very competitive ticket price. The 2020 and 26th ball will take on Saturday 12th of December and will sell out, to reserve tables please email Chris Woodhead on chris@adcomtec.co.uk
At last years ball, local Dance Group Joze School of Dance helped to sell £3000 in raffle tickets, a massive increase on 2018 sales for which the rotary are very grateful.

Rotary President Glynne Edwards thanked all concerned especially Associate Rotarian Chris Woodhead for Chairing the Organising Committee plus Rotarian Peter Settle.
