For the first time in recent history, Ilkley Manor House is offering a unique heritage festive-dining experience in the week building up to 25th December.
Set amidst the historic and distinctive backdrop of the beautiful Grade I listed building, diners will be able to enjoy a delicious 3-course fine-dining menu from award-winning caterers, Good Food Story.
With parts of the House dating back to c 1390, you can easily imagine what Christmas celebrations may have been like throughout the last 600 years, from Tudor banquets to Regency revelry and the introduction of Victorian traditions that we still know and enjoy today. Diners can now take their seat in history whilst enjoying modern, seasonal dishes worthy of the finest of feasts.
Sarah Thomas, Chair of the Ilkley Manor House Trust says, “This is set to be a truly fantastic event. The House is of course stunning all-year-round, but it is transformed into something quite magical during the winter months when it’s dark outside and the lights shine out into the Courtyard, inviting you into its atmospheric warmth. There will be a welcome drink on arrival and we hope diners end their memorable, festive experience happy and replete.”
Group bookings and smaller parties welcome; bring friends, family, employees, or just yourself! Table sittings are available from Tuesday 19 December 2023 to Thursday 21 December 2023, either between 1:30pm and 4:30pm or 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Cost is £55 per head.
