The annual Ilkley Literature Festival [ILF] will be the subject of the next informative lunchtime speaker event organised by The Rotary Club of Ilkley.


ILF Partnerships & Operations Director, Kate Lovery, will talk about the festival at The Wheatley Arms in Ben Rhydding on Tuesday 18th March.


Ilkley Literature Festival was established in 1973 and runs for 17 days every October with over 100 events.  The festival has attracted innumerable famous authors over the years including W.H. Auden, Alan Bennett, Maya Angelou, Margaret Atwood, Ted Hughes, Hilary Mantel and Poet Laureate Simon Armitage to name just a few.


Open to all, arrival is 12 noon for 12.30pm meal and 1.15pm talk, with a 2pm finish.
