The Grove Bookshop events programme is going from strength to strength with more authors visiting in April and May.

Mike Sansbury, the manager of The Grove Bookshop said:

“Following lively and successful evenings with Sunday Times bestseller Jennie Godfrey, author of The List of Suspicious Things and popular author and essayist Adam Farrer, whose new book is called Broken Biscuits, we have some even more high profile visitors coming over the next month or two.”

On Friday 11th April at 10.30am, Julia Chapman will be at the bookshop to sign copies of Date with Destiny, the final book in her wildly successful Dales Detective series, this is a free event, just turn up.

Mike adds:

“Then on Thursday 24th April at 7pm we will be welcoming Lucy Rose, author of the book everyone's talking about, The Lamb. Lucy will be in conversation with bookseller and writer Emily Devane about her book which Emily describes as ‘a folk tale, a horror story, a love story and an enchantment.’ It's about a mother and daughter relationship like no other, with undertones of cannibalism, but don't be afraid, because Lucy is a lively and engaging speaker.
