With the summer holidays upon us, Nell Bank in Ilkley aims to help get more families out of the house and into nature with their Discovery Days.
On Fridays and Saturdays through the school Summer Holidays, Nell Bank is open to the public for 8 days of exciting outdoor exploration and play.
Visiting families will be able to roam the site, follow one of the nature trails and explore the adventure playground and water play area. The Nell Bank Charity Cafe will be selling food, drinks, and treats, and the site has plenty of space to sit down and enjoy a picnic.
Nell Bank are excited to provide more opportunities than ever before for families to visit and explore the 25 acres of fabulous green open space. Nell Bank offers the perfect place to spend a few hours with your family, there are so many activity areas, every corner of the site has something exciting to discover.
Booking for your visit is essential and can be done on www.nellbank.org or follow the links on the Nell Bank social media channels. Tickets are only £3, under 2’s are free.
The site on Denton Road is open from 11am to 3pm on Fridays and Saturdays for 4 weeks, with the last admission at 2pm. All ages and abilities are welcome, and the site is fully accessible.
