Old friends Pearl, Jan and Linda are enjoying a long-awaited break on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne off the Northumberland coast when an unexpected visitor arrives.

Brian Bilston and Henry Normal appear together for the first time in a show which one critic has described as “two people reading some poems”.

Along the way, they will be drawing on their vast catalogue of crowd favourites – and throwing in new poems, to prevent becoming their own tribute bands.

On this his sixth UK tour, Geoff Norcott will be trying to make sense of the current cultural and political scene with his playfully provocative brand of humour. Whether it's the dire blandness of the two main parties or the shamelessly shoe-horned right-on messages in adverts and films, Geoff will continue to tread in areas much of comedy leaves well alone.

Cilla and the Swinging 60s is a highly entertaining show, stylishly celebrating the life and music of the legendary Cilla Black as well as a handpicked selection of her well-known contemporaries, including Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Petula Clark, The Beatles and many more.

With a spectacular 'Mardi Gras' parade which starts on The Grove at 11am, Ilkley Carnival is the day of family fun on East Holmes Field.
Entertainment includes the annual fun dog show, a free craft tent, Ilkley Rocks featuring live local bands and the bike stunt team Defying Gravity in the Discover Ilkley arena hosted by Rombalds Radio.

Celebrate 75 Years with Ilkley Town AFC! The Celebration Party and Players Awards will celebrate achievements on and off the pitch over the last 75 years. Guests receive a welcome drink, buffet meal and are entertained by live music, games and disco.

The music starts at 7.30pm with some easy-to follow dance tuition from Mark and Debbie of Bradford based 2/- Jive. The Swing Band will play 3 sets of favourites from the classic Big Band era, plus some Latin and good old Rock ’n Roll.

Spreading nostalgia and laughter throughout the UK with the seal of approval from Victoria’s very own school-chums and colleagues, featuring the star of BBC1’s All Together Now, Paulus The Cabaret Geek “King of Cabaret” (The Stage) with Michael Roulston (Fascinating Aïda) on piano.
